A senior research fellow at the University of Lincoln discusses why the global IT software industry loses billions each year in his latest book.
John McManus, who works in the Faculty of Business and Management at the university, is an acknowledged expert in project recovery methods and risk management.
‘Risk Management in Software Development Projects’ focuses on what IT project managers need to know about risk in the pursuit of delivering software projects.
Mr McManus is a software engineer with 15 years’ experience in project delivery and is visiting Professor in Management Sciences at the Rushmore Institute.
Published in September this year by Elsevier Butterworth-Heinemann, ‘Risk Management in Software Development Projects’ is Mr McManus’ second book.
His first book ‘Information Systems Project Management,’ was published in January this year by Pearson Education.
