MUSLIM JOURNALIST TO TACKLE ETHICS

 

A leading British Muslim journalist will give a lecture on ‘The Muslim Approach to Ethical Journalism’ at the University of Lincoln next week.

 

Fuad Nahdi, publisher and founding editor of the Muslim magazine Q News, will speak on Monday 10th November as part of the ‘Journalists Speak out on Journalism’ series.

 

Q News is a monthly colour magazine published in London containing articles relevant to Muslims today, from religion and politics to lifestyle issues.

The magazine was launched in March 1992 Fuad Nahdi as a fortnightly tabloid paper before evolving into its present format.

The lecture will be given at 6pm on Monday in the Cargill Lecture Theatre at the university’ Brayford Pool campus. All are welcome, including members of the public, and admission is free.

 

The final speaker in the series will be Philippa Kennedy, broadcaster and former Editor of Press Gazette.
