11th November 2003
The University of Lincoln will throw open the doors of its refurbished Hull campus to prospective students later this month.
The open day on Saturday 22nd November will be an important date for students who are making decisions about going to university.
The open day runs from 9.30am until 3.30pm. Registration takes place at the Derek Crothall Building on George Street and visitors will have the opportunity to tour the whole campus, including the Queens Gardens site and the Hooper Building.
Welcome talks will be given at 10am and 1.30pm and there will also be information sessions covering accommodation, learning resources, student support, information for parents, student life and Hull city tourism.
Throughout the day Hull campus lecturers will be available for one-to-one discussions with students.
“From the increasing numbers of visitors we can tell that our open days are becoming more and more popular,” said a university spokesman.
“If you’re thinking of going to university next year we strongly recommend that you take the time to visit the university before you make your final decision.”
