7th January 2003

Over 100 visitors are expected to attend an open day at the University of Lincoln’s Hull City Centre campus later this month.

Prospective students will be visiting the George Street and Queens Gardens campuses on Saturday 25th January to discover more about the courses on offer.

Illustration, Social Work, Animation, Child Studies and Interactive Multimedia are just some of the course areas which will be showcased on the day.

The university’s George Street building will be open from 9.30am until 3.30pm with a welcome presentation at 10am.

Visitors will get the chance to tour the facilities and get information on student life, finance, student support and accommodation. There will even be a special session giving information relevant to parents and relatives.

“Our open days are becoming more and more popular as they are a tremendous opportunity to see the facilities at first hand and speak to staff and current students about life at university,” said a spokesman.
