BANK OF ENGLAND EXPERT TO GIVE ECONOMIC OUTLOOK

 

The University of Lincoln is to host the Bank of Englandís inflation report briefing for the second year running.

 

Professor Stephen Nickell of the Bank of Englandís Monetary Policy Committee will present information on the state of the UK economy tomorrow evening (Tuesday 19th November) to an invited audience of business people and academics.

 

Commencing with the worldwide context, Professor Nickell will give details on the domestic UK economy and members of the audience will have an opportunity to

question the presenter and staff from the Bank of England.

 

Professor Stephen Nickell is School Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics and a member of the Governmentís Monetary Policy Committee which was set up in 1997 to set interest rates.

 

He will speak at 6pm tomorrow evening in the Cargill Lecture Theatre at the University of Lincolnís Brayford Pool campus.
