Social Work students at the University of Lincoln in Hull will get the chance to weigh up their career prospects next month.
The university is organising a special Social Work Jobs Fair at the Cottingham Road campus to put students in touch with prospective employers in the region.
Local and regional employers and voluntary agencies will be represented at the jobs fair, which will take place in the Kingston Suite, Cottingham Road campus, between 12 noon and 2pm on Wednesday 13th November.
“The idea came from final-year students themselves who will be able to benefit from an information and careers advice day such as this,” said a spokesman for the University of Lincoln.
The university’s Social Work courses are currently taught at the Cottingham Road campus but will move to the new Hull School of Health and Social Care at George Street from next September.
For more information about the Social Work Jobs Fair contact Lynne Wilson, senior lecturer in Social Work, on Hull 464399.
