FANCY A CAREER IN SOCIAL CARE?

If you have ever thought about training for a career in social care this is your opportunity to find out just what is involved.

Visitors are being invited along to an information session at The Learning Shop in Hull to find out about social care and related areas and other courses run at the Hull School of Health and Social Care.

Staff from the school will be giving a presentation at The Learning Shop, Main Deck, Princes Quay Shopping Centre on Saturday 13th July between 10.30am and 11.30am and will be available afterwards to answer any questions on training and careers in social care.

Visitors will be able to find out what a career in social work involves, the qualifications required, what is covered in the training and the modes of study available, for example part-time or full-time.

Information will also be available on Child Studies, Social Work and Effective Community Mental Health.

“If you have considered social care as an option or think you may be interested please come along,” said Janet Walker, tutor in Social Care. “There is no need to book and everyone is welcome.”
