Farm machinery manufacturers will be demonstrating their wares at a Crop Establishment Demonstration at the Lincolnshire School of Agriculture’s Riseholme Park.
The demonstration, which is being organised in association with Aubourn Farming and Blankney Estates, will take place on Tuesday 16th July at 1.30pm in the conference hall.
After a brief introduction from Robert Hall of the Aubourn Advisory Team, representatives from important names such as Simba, Horsch, Moore, Vaderstad and John Dale will explain the attributes of their respective machines.
A field demonstration of each machine and an opportunity to see established plots of cereals sown by the same machines will be included in the afternoon programme.
“It is hoped that continued evaluation of these and other machines will take place this autumn and next year, when there may be a further opportunity to compare their performance,” said a farm spokesperson.
If you would like further information on the demonstration or would like to book a place, please contact the Riseholme Park farm office on 01522 895294.
