An open invitation has been issued by the University of Lincoln to all students who would like to find out more about the courses held at Brayford Pool.


On Saturday 11th May the campus will open its doors for the last Lincoln based open day before the start of the next academic year in September 2002.


Over 800 visitors are already expected to attend the open day where subjects including English, History, Tourism, Social Policy, Forensic Science, Health Studies, Human Resources, Media Production, Journalism and Psychology will be the focus.


Sessions on six new Lincoln-based courses - Games Computing, Applied Biology, Complementary Medicine, Health Informatics, Medical Biosciences and Sports Science - will also be included.


Careers guidance, financial advice and tours of the campus facilities are offered at various times throughout the day.


In addition, staff from Lincoln tourist information will be in attendance, giving advice on Lincolnís attractions and providing tours of the city.


The open day programme commences with a welcome talk at 10.30 a.m. for the morning sessions and is repeated at 12.30 p.m. for the afternoon sessions.Visitors may choose which sessions to attend.


If you are intending to travel by car please be aware that university parking spaces are limited.However, there are a number of pay and display car parks in the vicinity.
