Students at the University of Lincoln will hear next week how the European Union tries to make life easier for small businesses.
Lorimer Mackenzie, Director of Promotion and
Entrepreneurship and SMEs at the
European Commission in Brussels, will be giving a lecture to students at the university’s Cottingham Road campus.
The theme of his talk on Thursday 18th April will be SMEs and the development of EU policy.
The lecture will be given in the Newington Lecture Theatre, Cottingham Road, at
12 noon and all are welcome to attend.
“The talk will be of particular interest to students taking degrees in Business Studies, European Studies and European Business Studies at the university,” commented a university spokesman.
“We do our best to bring in relevant speakers with high levels of expertise and knowledge for the benefit of our students, and the visit of Mr Mackenzie will I’m sure be of great interest to everyone in the audience.”
