Prospective students of the University of Lincoln have been invited to view the new Lincoln Business School which will be launched later this year.
The new school will be officially open in September 2002 and will be based at the Brayford Pool campus, offering degree programmes in subjects such as Business, Human Resource Management and Public Relations.
“The launch of the Lincoln Business School will be a positive development for the university,” said a spokesman. “We will be developing the Faculty of Business and offering two additional undergraduate courses in Accountancy and Human Resource Management at the Lincoln campus from September 2002.”
Students interested in the following courses have been invited to the open days, which will be held on Friday 15th February and Friday 22nd March from 9am to 2.30pm:
“Students were invited on a first come, first served basis, and we are expecting approximately 170 students and their parents to attend over the two days,” said faculty marketing and recruitment officer Sarah Garrett.
Visitors will attend interactive sessions on their chosen subjects and be given tours of the campus by present students. They will have the opportunity to talk to academics and receive advice on future careers and on funding their degree. “We aim to answer all their questions and provide them with an accurate insight into life at the University of Lincoln,” said Sarah.
