8th February 2002

An open day at the Lincoln School of Art and Design this month will give prospective students and their families an insight into the courses and facilities on offer.

The event will take place at Chad Varah House, part of the University of Lincoln, on Wednesday 20th February.

The day is designed to give students a taste of university life with tours of the various departments and advice on accommodation and funding.  Visitors will have the opportunity to talk to academics as well as to current students.

“The open days are very popular and extremely well organised,” said a university spokesman.  “They give both prospective students and parents the chance to find out more about art and design subjects.”

The day is aimed at students interested in the following courses:

Owing to the popularity of the day students interested must book a place by contacting Caroline Connell on 01522 885010.
