The University of Lincoln has put a new team in place to support and promote its Hull campuses.
From September 2003 all teaching, research and administration will take place at the city centre campus (George Street and Queens Gardens), and a new Head of Hull Campus is already in post to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of support for students and staff.
Sarah Gribbin has taken the role of Head of Hull Campus, having formerly been a regional manager in the university’s international department.
Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Derek Crothall will now take overall responsibility for the Hull campuses.
The Hull campus has appointed a dedicated marketing officer whose job will be to promote the university in Hull and boost the recruitment of students to the Hull campuses.
Nick Sandham, who has also worked in marketing for De Montfort University, has moved from his former base at the university in Lincoln to take over the new position.
The new Hull campus team is currently based at the Cottingham Road campus but will move to new offices in Hull city centre in the summer of 2003, when the Cottingham Road campus will transfer to the University of Hull.
One-stop shops to fulfil the needs of current and prospective students are expected to be up and running by August 2002.
“The University of Lincoln is committed to the city of Hull and looks forward to increasing student numbers at the city centre campus from September 2003,” commented spokesman Jez Ashberry.
