STAR CHANCE FOR LOCAL ACTORS

Media Production students at the University of Lincoln are looking for local people to star in a short film they are producing in the city.

They are seeking two males and a female, aged between 30 and 40, for the three main character roles.  Two further males of the same age are required to undertake minor parts.  No previous acting experience is necessary.

The film is a ten-minute drama focusing on how the relationships of the three main characters become intertwined.  The production team of five students are hoping the film will be entered in the Royal Television Society Awards.

This will be the second time the students have worked with local actors.  “There was a strong local response to the last production ‘Closed Circuit’ and everyone involved really enjoyed the experience,” said final-year Media Production student Mark Lakin.

“It’s an excellent chance for local people interested in acting to get their talent showcased.”
