A leading public relations guru is to be honoured by the University of Lincoln at a ceremony in Hull later this month.
Adele Biss, chairman of the fast-growing corporate communications and public affairs consultancy A S Biss & Co, will be at Hull City Hall on Friday 25th January to receive an honorary Doctorate of Business Administration.
She will join postgraduate and international students of the University of Lincoln who will receive their awards at the annual winter postgraduate ceremony at 2.30pm.
A S Biss and Co has a turnover in excess of £1.5 million and counts Cadbury Schweppes plc, the Commission for Racial Equality, Nestle UK, Nuffield Hospitals and the RAC amongs its corporate clients.
Adele Biss is also a director of European Passenger Services and Harry Ramsden’s and a governor of Middlesex University.
A former chairman of the English Tourist Board and a former director of Aegis plc and British Rail, she began her career in 1968 as a graduate trainee with Unilever. Two years later she had been appointed head of marketing, communications and PR at Thomson Holidays.
