Students thinking about signing up for a degree in art and design or architecture can take a tour this week of the courses and facilities on offer in Hull.


The Hull School of Art and Design and the Hull School of Architecture will be staging a public open day on Wednesday (28th November) for students interested in  the following degree programmes:


Animation                             Architecture                     

Fine Art                      Graphic Design   

Illustration                             Interactive Multimedia 

Interior Design         Museum & Exhibition Design

TV & Film Design


The open day will run from 10.30am until 3pm and will begin with registration in the ground-floor restaurant at the George Street campus.


There will be a welcome talk in the Saville Lecture Theatre in George Street at 11am followed by subject talks and a wide range of information between 11.30am and 12.45pm at both George Street and Queens Gardens.


A talk on funding your degree will follow between 1.30pm and 2pm in the Saville Lecture Theatre, and student ambassadors will be available throughout the day to take visitors on campus tours.


“With a £4 million refit in the pipeline the future is bright for our city centre campus,” commented University of Lincoln spokesman Jez Ashberry.


“In the coming years we will relocate all our Hull-based academic programmes to the city centre campus and increase the number of students from 900 to at least 1,500.”
