The European Conference on Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods due to be staged at the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside next week has been postponed until May 2002.
The conference was due to take place on Friday 31st August 2001 but has had to be delayed as two key speakers are now unable to attend.
The rearranged conference will discuss the healthful or healthy foods industry, which includes nutraceuticals, functional foods, fortified foods, supplements, organics and natural foods.
Through its Food Research Centre the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside has been involved in the area of food science and technology for over 30 years. All the university’s food research and teaching activities moved to Lincoln from Grimsby in the summer of 2000.
