The innovative and imaginative designs of Hull students will be exhibited to the public at the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside this week.


The Hull Schools of Art & Design and Architecture, based at various locations around the city centre, are about to showcase final year work of students from nine courses.


Amongst the innovative creations on show will be a 15 – foot jacuzzi sculpture and the work of students who have redesigned Hull-based Kingston interactive television’s service Local Link.


“This is an exhibition of young contemporary design talent, including commercial and experimental pieces,” said Alan Thomas, graphic design lecturer. “The shows provide a chance to see up and coming young design.”


The public opening times are as follows:


School of Art & Design (including TV & Film Design, Interactive Multimedia, Fine Art, Phonic Art, Illustration and Graphic Design)

·      Saturday 9th June to Friday 15th June

·      10am to 4pm

·      Venues: Queens Gardens, 42 High Street, Anlaby Road


School of Architecture (including Architecture, Museum & Exhibition Design and Interior Design)

·      Saturday 9th June to Friday 16th June

·      10am to 4pm. Except Sunday 12pm - 4pm

·      Venue: George Street
