A new course for graduates and local practitioners interested in continuing their legal careers is to be launched at the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside later this year.
LLM European Law, the widely recognised postgraduate qualification, will be open to students from September 2001 and can be studied on a full-time or part-time basis by taking individual units to update expertise in specific areas.
Candidates study a Postgraduate Certificate in European Law & Policy and then a Postgraduate Diploma in European Law. These can lead to a Master of Laws in European Law.
“We are responding to the growing market for professional short courses,” said Edmund Fitzpatrick, head of Law at the university.
The university is accredited by the Law Society as a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) short course provider.
