HIGH STREET GLAMOUR AT CATWALK 2001

Do you love Gucci but don’t have the budget? Catwalk 2001, the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside’s very own fashion show, will show you how to achieve designer looks at high street prices.

The event, to be held on Friday 3rd April from 8pm at the university’s Student Union bar, is not just aimed at female fashion lovers - men will be on the catwalk too!

Journalism students Tamsyn Hicks and Heidi Robinson have organised the event with support from well known high street fashion stores in Lincoln. Circa, Exte, Top Shop, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins and Burton have supplied clothes and the creative style team at Talking Heads are involved with hair styling.

Lincoln students will be modelling the latest looks to raise money for charity as the event is part of the university’s Rag Week (28th March to 5th April).

“Lincoln stores have been really supportive - it should be a great event,” said Heidi

Robinson. “It’s not just the girls that are really excited about the show, the men can’t wait to get on the catwalk!”

The event is open to NUS students and guests. Anyone interested in coming to the event or offering further support should contact the Students’ Union on 01522 886142.
