The challenges facing the French-speaking world will be the subject of a lecture at the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside in Hull next week.


Gérard Poulet, a lecturer in French and Modern Languages Education at the University of Exeter, will discuss ‘La Francophonie dans le monde et ses défis dans les années 90’ (or ‘The French-speaking world and its challenges in the 90s’).


The lecture will take place at the Newington Lecture Theatre on Cottingham Road.

at 4pm on Tuesday 3 April.


Mr Poulet’s research interests include French cultural studies, teacher training and the use of ICT in the teaching of modern languages.
