5th March 2001
Students hoping to enrol on courses at the Hull School of Art and Design and the Hull School of Architecture can get an insight into university life this Wednesday (7th March 2001).
The university will use its latest city centre open day to explain to prospective students that courses in Hull are running as normal this year, despite publicity to the contrary.
“We want to reassure students that all our Hull-based courses are recruiting as normal for September 2001,” commented education liaison manager Jacqueline Mayer.
“There will be changes after this September, but students can enrol on undergraduate courses this autumn safe in the knowledge that they will be able to complete their degree in Hull.”
The open day begins at 10.30am at the George Street campus (registration in the restaurant) and is aimed at students who have applied to study the following programmes:
Animation Interactive Multimedia
Architecture Interior Design
Architectural technology Museum & Exhibition Design
Fine Art Phonic Art
Graphic Design Television & Film Design
A copy of the timetable for the day is available on the university’s web site
