Six new degree courses are being offered to students enrolling this year at the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside.

The university, which has campuses in Hull and Lincoln, is breaking new ground by expanding its academic portfolio in areas which are in tune with technological advances in science, business and culture.

New business-related subjects for 2000 include Public Relations, Advertising, Virtual Organisations and Electronic Business & Commerce; the newly built science facility in Lincoln will be the home of the university’s new Forensic Science degree; and the Hull School of Art & Design will be offering a brand new degree in Graphic & Digital Art.

“There is a real sense now that the university is booming and becoming a top destination for study in the UK,” commented spokesman Jez Ashberry.

“From next month we will begin offering science courses at the Lincoln campus, while our commitment to Hull is demonstrated by the four new business- and art-related degrees which can be studied in the city.”
