If you’re thinking about going to college or university you can’t afford to miss the Lincolnshire HE Fair next month.

Organised by the staff of Lincolnshire Careers and Guidance Services the fair on 17th May will be staged for the first time this year at the Lincoln campus of the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside.

The event will feature stands and presentations by over 120 higher education institutions, and visitors will also have the opportunity to attend any of 36 subject workshops.

“As well as attracting year 12 and college students, the Lincolnshire HE Fair will be an ideal opportunity for potential mature students to find out more about higher education,” commented Maggie Smyth of Lincolnshire Careers and Guidance Services.

“It will be a busy day as we expect to welcome 3,500 A-level and Advanced GNVQ students and a further 500 mature students,” said Jacqueline Mayer, education liaison manager at the university.

The event will run from 9.30am until 3.30pm, and refreshments will be available.
