A one-day conference on making the most of e-journals available on the Internet is being held today at the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside.

Using the World Wide Web to access information can be a source of great frustration as well as pleasure, and the meeting will give academics and students an insight into how to get the best out of the new technology.

The event is being organised by the universityís Learning Support Resources Manager Philippa Dyson, on behalf of the Library Associationís university, college and research group, East Midlands section.

Fifty people were expected to attend the Lincoln campus event to hear four speakers give their views on the use of e-journals and consider whether being able to access them on-line is the solution or just another problem.
