Students from the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside are being invited to head back to campus during the summer vacation to star in a new TV advertising campaign.

Marketing Assistant Alex Bustin will pay 40 to 50 current students £30 each to appear in the university’s new TV advertisement, which will be broadcast on ITV and Channel Four from September.

Of the final 50 selected at the casting session in Lincoln on 14th August, six will be chosen for speaking parts - and will receive a much higher fee.

“If you’re a ULH student and you’ve always dreamed of appearing on TV - or just need some extra cash - give me a ring,” said Alex. “You could be an extra or earn a larger fee if you’re chosen for one of our six starring roles.”

The advertisement will be filmed by Commercials Unlimited of Covent Garden at the university’s campuses in Lincoln and Hull on 30th and 31st August and some students may travel to the Hull campus courtesy of the university.

“By filming a TV advert we hope to reach as many potential students and their families as possible,” she added. “We recruit nationwide and this is a great way of showing what the university has to offer.”
