Surfers on the Internet will be impressed by the new-look web site which has been launched by the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside.

The site, which can be visited at www.ulh.ac.uk, has been redesigned and relaunched to coincide with the major TV and cinema advertising campaign which the university is running this month.

Already the new-look site, which features stills from the television ads as well as comprehensive information about the university, is attracting a lot of interest from web surfers.

Within 24 hours of the launch of the site over 100 people had emailed the university enquiring about courses on offer and booking places on up-coming open days.

“The university’s web site is a really useful tool for students thinking about going into higher education,” explained Chris Goddard, Web Development Manager at ULH.

“This launch is just a first step on the road to a comprehensive site which will be a complete resource for prospective students and anyone else who wants to know what goes on at ULH.”

The university’s current TV advertising campaign can be seen on Yorkshire / Tyne Tees, Carlton (East) and Channel 4 (North Macro) and the ads will also be shown in cinemas in Essex, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Norfolk, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire from Friday 13th October.
