12th September 2000

After the rush for places during the university clearing period, keen sixth formers and mature students will be on campus tomorrow to find out more about signing up for next September.

The University of Lincolnshire & Humberside will be hosting an open day at its Cottingham Road campus from 10am to 3pm and anyone curious about higher education is welcome to attend.

The morning’s activities, which begin with a welcome talk after registration in Wilberforce Hall, will be repeated at 12.30am and visitors are welcome to attend either session.

Subject talks and accommodation tours are just two of the many activities on the day which will give visitors an insider’s view of life on campus.

Talks on each subject area offered at the campus will be held throughout the day and visitors are welcome to tour the learning support and language facilities where students and staff will be on hand to answer any questions.

Staff from the accommodation service will also be available for a chat and tours of on-campus accommodation will take place throughout the day.

Subject areas taught at Cottingham Road include engineering, computing, social sciences, marketing, business and European studies.
