Riverside University Campus

Island Wharf

A Statement

We are well aware that access to the Island Wharf site and the impact of the proposed development on vehicular and pedestrian traffic flows are important issues which need to be addressed.

We are in discussion with the planning authority on these matters and have undertaken a comprehensive traffic impact assessment which will address these issues in full. This traffic impact assessment will form part of our application for outline planning approval and will be available for public scrutiny once submitted to the planning authority.

Because of the sensitivity surrounding this proposed development we have been working very closely with the planning authority in order to properly address the concerns which have been raised by local residents and other interested parties. Throughout we have sought to respond to those concerns as our development proposals have come together

We now expect to submit an application for outline planning approval later this month, and we have kept the city council fully advised of our intentions in this regard.
