The University of Lincolnshire & Humberside will be joining in the fun when Lincolnís annual Water Carnival hits the Brayford this weekend.


The Atrium Restaurant on campus will be open on Saturday (8th July 2000) between 12 noon and 2pm serving a selection of hot food, with special meal deals and take-aways available.


The campus coffee bar and bottle bar in the main building will be open from 10am until 9.30pm on Saturday, serving alcoholic drinks from 11am on the Saturday, and from 11am until 4.30pm on the Sunday. Morning coffees and afternoon teas will also be on offer.


The highlight of the day for the universityís caterers will be a public barbecue on the patio overlooking the Brayford. The sausages will start to sizzle at 11.30am on Saturday and the barbecue will be open from 11.30 to 2pm on both Saturday and Sunday.


Bacon baps, hot dogs, beefburgers, vegiburgers and ice creams will be available to feed the hundreds of spectators expected to flock to the Marina for the yearly water-based event.


The university will be open both days and information on courses available will be on show at the east end of the main building.
