Officials from the Department for Education will visit the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside on Tuesday (25th July 2000) to give staff the lowdown on student finances for the coming academic year.


Access bursaries, hardship funds, fee waiver funds and loans for part-time students will all come under discussion at Student Finance 2000/2001, a half-day briefing session organised by the university.


The event is aimed at access fund officers, advice and student support staff , student records and admissions staff, Student Union officers and disability advisers.


Keynote speakers from the DfEE will be Nina Curley, Helen Brooks, Paul Schofield and Jim Wilson.


The two half-day sessions are open to external delegates at a cost of 15 per delegate, but ULH staff can attend for free.


Delegates can attend either in the morning (10am to 12.30pm) or in the afternoon (1.30pm to 4.00pm).
