INSIGHT INTO ENGLISH SCHOOLS FOR TEXANS

pic cap: A delegation of school chiefs from Texas met with Lincoln educationalists in a week-long visit to the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside.

Over the week further links were forged between the International Educational Leadership Centre at ULH and the University of Texas College of Education Doctorate Faculty.

Acting IELC director Fergus O’Sullivan co-ordinated a week of tours, meetings and visits which included trips to local primary and secondary schools.

The Texans also travelled to Brooke Weston City Technology College in Corby, one of the most innovative and successful schools in the country which works closely with ULH academic Prof Trevor Kerry, who gave his inaugural lecture on education during the week.
