Parents looking for an insight into higher education can have everything explained to them at an information evening on Tuesday 11th April.

Organised by the Lincolnshire Careers Service and the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside, the event is for parents from Lincoln, Horncastle and Market Rasen whose offspring are planning to go onto higher education in September 2001.

Guest speakers from the higher education sector will explain the background to the decisions currently being taken by youngsters in schools and colleges.

The event is being hosted at the Lincoln campus of the university. “There are lots of decisions to take when considering higher education and parents may feel they are the last to know on many of the issues involved,” said education liaison manager Jacqueline Mayer.

“This is a great opportunity for parents to come along and find out about the process at first hand.”
