Pupils studying Spanish at Skegness Grammar School will be on campus at the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside on Wednesday for a day of language activities including the experience of talking to native speakers.

At the Spanish Day they will join around 70 other pupils taking Spanish GCSE and A-level at schools around the county in a joint effort by the schools and ULH to help them prepare for upcoming exams.

They will take part in interviews with some of the university’s many Spanish and Latin American students and get the chance to use the latest language learning equipment and software in the Learning Resource and Media Production Centre.

Exploring Spanish on the Internet and a University Challenge are just some of the activities planned.

The day on campus follows a similar successful event earlier in the year that also gives the young students an insight into university life and the extensive range of academic facilities offered at ULH.
