A delegation of visitors from a Malaysian university are on campus this week at the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside.

Food research academics from the Institut Teknologi Mara in Selangor are meeting with lecturers at the Grimsby campus to discuss links between the two institutions.

The British Council sponsors the link between ULH and ITM and the visit is being organised by UK link co-ordinator Prof Tony Taylor, a lecturer at the university.

Over their week-long stay, Dr Chong Cheow and Madam Norizzah Abd. Rashid are to discuss a design for a new food quality laboratory at ITM and the potential entry of ITM graduates onto the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside’s MSc programmes.

As part of their busy schedule they will be gaining experience of the development and management of BSc programmes and discussing distance learning programmes with ULH academic Dr John Ahmad.

The visitors will leave Grimsby on Thursday to visit the Lincoln campus before travelling down to London for their Friday morning flight back to Malaysia.
