STUDENTS BUILD BRIDGES AT ULH

Team skills were put to the test yesterday, Thursday 15th July, as teenagers from two Beverley schools descended on the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside to build boats and bridges at the Hull School of Architecture.

These challenges were part of an introduction to the university for pupils from Beverley Grammar and High schools.

After lunch the teenagers were given advice on how to get the best out of their time in the sixth form and an insight into life at university.

“The day was a great opportunity for local sixth-formers to work as a team on a project and learn about life at university at the same time,” said a university spokesperson.

Following the activities each team will made a presentation of their work with prizes awarded for the best efforts.
