The Archbishop of York will give a public lecture at the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside next week on the future of the human race.


Entitled ‘Where in the World are We Going?’, the lecture by the Most Revd and Rt Hon Dr David Hope KCVO, on Monday 5th July, will examine the role religion will play as we approach the 21st Century.


Dr Hope’s lecture begins at 7pm at the Saville Lecture Theatre on George Street, Hull. Admission is free but places should be reserved - contact Karen Raynes on 01482 440550 ext 6097.


A former Bishop of London, Dr Hope was educated at Nottingham University and Linacre College, Oxford, where he became a Doctor of Philosophy. The college made Dr Hope an honorary fellow in 1993.
