Making her television debut this week was a lecturer from the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside aiming to raise awareness of the potential for women in the world of senior management.

Jenny Headlam-Wells appears on Jobfinder all this week talking to presenter John Hammond about women who wish to return to management after a family break.

At Hull Business School Mrs Headlam-Wells runs the Women into Management for the 21st Century programme which is free of charge to its students and funded by the European Union. It runs alongside similar courses at the universities of Westminster and Liverpool.

“I’ve been on the radio to talk about women returners before but this was my first time on the television,” said Mrs Headlam-Wells. “The programme was a great opportunity to raise awareness of women trying to get back into management.”

Jobfinder is shown in the early hours of the morning from 4.30am and Jenny will appear every day this week, with a repeat to follow in September.

Places on the next Women into Management programme beginning in September are being snapped up, but Mrs Headlam-Wells is keen to hear from anyone interested in joining the February course - she can be contacted on 01482 460460.
