A new book by a Lincoln academic that will help teachers meet targets in the classroom has now been published.

Prof Trevor Kerry from the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside is an advocate of the five-term year and has travelled the country to persuade education authorities that is the way forward for schools.

His latest publication ‘Learning Objectives, Task Setting and Differentiation’ is part of the Effective Teaching Skills series which addresses how traditional and new skills should be adopted in schools for the future.

The focus is on actual examples that work in the classroom, to help teachers meet targets that are increasingly being set in each area such as those set through Ofsted inspections.
