Hundreds of prospective students are expected in Hull on Wednesday (17th March 1999) to take a look round the School of Architecture and the School of Art and Design.


Visitors to the open day will be able to tour the facilities and talk to students and academics about a range of courses offered by the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside, from Illustration and Animation to Architectural Technology and Film & TV Design.


Tours will be made of the city centre campus and information will be available on accommodation and learning support services.


The full list of courses being showcased on Wednesday comprises Animation, Interactive Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Architectural Technology, Museum & Exhibition Design, Fine Art, Phonic Art, Graphic Design, TV & Film Design and



“Our open day is a brilliant opportunity to look behind the scenes and get a glimpse of the talent and technology to be found at the Hull city centre campus,” commented education liaison manager Ann Spencer.


Students and visitors attending the open day should register at the George Street Restaurant between 9.30am and 10am on Wednesday 17th March. A welcome meeting will take place in the Saville Lecture Theatre, George Street, at 10am.
