A strategic management expert will return to the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside on Monday for what is becoming an annual event.

Gerry Johnson, Professor of Strategic Management at the Cranfield School of Management for the past 10 years, will deliver a lecture on developing strategies in organisations to 300 final year undergraduates.

“On previous visits Professor Johnson’s lectures and seminars have proved thought-provoking and entertaining, providing valuable practical insights for staff and students,” said Chris Thompson, from the Department of Business Strategy.

A seminar entitled ‘Management Research and Publishing - Why Bother?’ will also be led by the professor.

Prof Johnson is co-author of Europe’s best-selling strategic management textbook and among his many accomplishments he is a member of the editorial board of the Strategic Management Journal.

The visit was organised by Sharon Clannachan from Business Strategy.
