FASHION FINES FOR COMIC RELIEF
Crazy clothes and hair styles are the hallmark of the nineties student, but on Comic Relief night students from the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside will have to dress even more strangely or face a fashion fine.
The Atrium at the Lincoln campus will be buzzing on 12 March as students celebrate the charity event as only they know how.
Simon Green, Students’ Union vice-president, says that with the disco, bar and the hundreds expected to join in the fun it should be a great night for the campus and Comic Relief.
“We want people to turn up in weird and wonderful outfits - fruit and vegetables are among the suggestions, but basically anything they wouldn’t wear normally!”
Fines for not dressing up will go to Comic Relief but Simon is hoping that all the students will make the effort and join in.
Other fund-raising events at the campus will be announced nearer the time.
