The MA in 21st Century Literature at Lincoln is one of the first master's in the UK and indeed the world on 21st century writing. It is a taught postgraduate programme which aims to give students a critical understanding of current developments in contemporary literature, a sample of the diversity and variety of English studies now and the skills needed to equip them for further research or employment
This new, practice-driven, programme aims to launch performance makers into professional settings with a range of critical, conceptual and analytical skills which complement and strengthen their maturing artistic practice.
This is a course for people who are passionate about the arts - and who want to learn the journalistic skills necessary to communicate this passion to a wider public.
Practice is at the heart of this programme and students are supported in their theoretical investigation of and experimentation with, choreographic concepts relating to the practice of renowned choreographers, and in line with current debates and literature found in the field of dance and choreography. The development of students' own practice is central to the programme and will appeal to those who are willing to risk dismantling their work and the thinking behind it in order to pursue a more refined and resonant artistic voice for 21st Century.
MA Community Radio provides a challenging postgraduate programme with cross-platform, hands-on experience in managing, producing and understanding the processes of community radio and how it relates to the expanding radio industry.
The MA in Creative Writing is a taught postgraduate programme which is specifically designed to link theory to practice at several levels. Not only will students have the opportunity to practice different genres of creative writing as they compile a portfolio of their own work, they will also be required to produce a piece of work which will be electronically published

The MRes Media and Cultural Studies provides a programme of research training leading to a Master's degree with the option of pursuing a substantial piece of original research under supervision leading to the MPhil/PhD degree.
This programme investigates the critical issues and debates in the critical analysis of contemporary media and culture.
The MA Media Production aims to provide students, in a theoretical context, with a comprehensive understanding of media production in one of a variety of media platforms i.e. radio, single or *multi-camera production, screenwriting, photography or design or new media.
MA Medieval Studies introduces students to a range of exciting approaches to the middle ages, and provides essential training in key skills for advanced research using medieval primary sources.
Practice-based MA which develops students' playwriting alongside the skills of script reading and script editing. The course is run in partnership with the Broadway Theatre London and in the second semester students are attached to the theatre to develop the writing of emerging playwrights while continuing to produce their own work.
