This new, practice-driven, programme aims to launch performance makers into professional settings with a range of critical, conceptual and analytical skills which complement and strengthen their maturing artistic practice.
Practice is at the heart of this programme and students are supported in their theoretical investigation of and experimentation with, choreographic concepts relating to the practice of renowned choreographers, and in line with current debates and literature found in the field of dance and choreography. The development of students' own practice is central to the programme and will appeal to those who are willing to risk dismantling their work and the thinking behind it in order to pursue a more refined and resonant artistic voice for 21st Century.
Practice-based MA which develops students' playwriting alongside the skills of script reading and script editing. The course is run in partnership with the Broadway Theatre London and in the second semester students are attached to the theatre to develop the writing of emerging playwrights while continuing to produce their own work.
