It is open to everyone and is an excellent opportunity to find out more about postgraduate study at the University of Lincoln and take part in a free workshop, ‘Being Brilliant – Change your life’. The session will offer top tips on business and marketing, and will introduce some popular management techniques to help you be the best version of you – be more positive, motivated, and confident.

The event will take place in the Siemens conference centre located in our fantastic Isaac Newton Building. It will start at 10am and includes a free brunch of Lincolnshire fayre. There will be a formal welcome at 10.30am before the one hour ‘Being Brilliant’ session to get you thinking like a postgraduate. There will be time for networking and tours of the University of Lincoln after but the session formally ends at 11.45pm.

Sebastian Cox, MA Design, 2011 Award-winning furniture designer, Sebastian Cox, has recently been named one of London’s most influential people by the Evening Standard. He is dedicated to designing and making fine objects from sustainable hardwoods and has worked on projects with Sir Terence Conran and has been praised by Grand Designs presenter Kevin McCloud.
Carlton Gajadhar, MSc International Tourism Management, 2014 Since graduating in 2014, Carlton has worked as a Freelance Customer Experience Professional working with high-profile clients throughout London, such as Merlin Entertainments and some of its attractions including Madame Tussauds and the Coca-Cola London Eye. Carlton has recently been appointed as a Visitor Experience Manager at the Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Cultural Centre in Kuwait.
Mica Girling, MSc Sport Science, 2012 Mica is working at Cherry Willingham Community School as Assistant Partnership and Community Development Manager. She is responsible for the operational management of the facility which includes managing the School's resources such as the Keith Alexander 3G football pitch and Lifestyle Fitness gym, overseeing school facility lettings and coordinating the exercise GP referral scheme. Mica says: “I couldn’t recommend the University of Lincoln enough and it’s always a pleasure to come back.”
