Join Us for Our Lincoln Experience Event

Wednesday 31 October 2018

We are inviting those engaged with international student recruitment in the UK to join us for an exclusive Lincoln Experience Event.

The city of Lincoln is an undiscovered treasure situated at the heart of the UK, just a two hour train journey from London and close to Nottingham and Leicester. It is home to a medieval cathedral, which was for many years the tallest building in the world, and a Norman castle which was constructed in the 11th Century by William the Conqueror. Lincoln also offers a vibrant and exciting city experience, provide a unique fusion of old and new.

We are inviting you to join us at our beautiful city centre campus at 11am. We will take you to the Bailgate quarter of Lincoln, enjoying a short city tour by bus, before we lead you on a Castle wall walk led by an expert historian. We will then enjoy a typical English cream tea in one of Lincoln’s many tearooms. After this we will walk back to the University (weather allowing) and experience a warm welcome to, and a talk from, the University of Lincoln International Business School.

That evening Chris Packham, TV presenter and Visiting Professor at the University of Lincoln, is giving an exclusive bats and owls talk at the University which you are invited to attend, where you will see real bats and owls first-hand. Professor Packham will be available for an exclusive meet and greet question and answer session with you and our other guests at 4.30pm. The day will end at 5pm unless you stay for the evening event which starts at 6pm.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. To confirm your attendance, please call John on 01522 886644 or email pgevents@lincoln.ac.uk

The University of Lincoln is located at the centre of the city. It is ranked 22nd overall in the UK according to the The Guardian University Guide 2019 and 7th in the UK for overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey 2018.
