Entry Requirements

 General Qualification RequirementEnglish Language Requirements
Foundation Entry into International Year 1
  • Successful completion of General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawiahiya) with average of 50%. For more information about our Foundation International Year 1 courses click here.
  • IELTS 4.0 or equivalent (no minimum writing requirement)
  • Pearson test of English (PTE) 36 across all skills.
Entry into Normal Year 1 of Bachelor Degree
  • Successful completion of General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawiahiya) and a recognised Foundation course.
  • You may also be considered if you hold a two year Post Tawjiahiya from a Higher Technical Institute or Commercial Institute
  • Students who have completed A-Levels, IB or SATs can apply for direct entry to Year 1 of undergraduate programmes
  • IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each band score)
  • Pearson Tests Overall score: 54 (Listening: 51, Speaking: 51, Reading 51, Writing 51)
Entry into Year 2 of Bachelor
  • One or more years of study at a Saudi University may be considered for a transfer onto year one or two of an undergraduate degree.
  • If you have successfully completed one year at another UK university you are eligible to apply for second year entry.
Postgraduate Entry
  • Successful completion of a 4 year bachelor degree from a recognised Saudi University with an average of ‘good’ or grade point average 2.8/4 or 3.2/5 or 65% (these are equivalent to a UK 2:2 grade).
  • We also accept students with a 3 year UK bachelor degree.
  • MPhil/PhD applicants require a master degree as well as a Bachelor degree.

Academic Excellence Scholarship
For High achieving students from China, India, Malaysia, Norway, Nigeria, Saudi, Thailand, Vietnam and the United States. These scholarships are worth £5000 and are specific to certain courses depending on home country.

Visa Requirements

You will need to show details of your acceptance onto a programme, your offer letter and evidence of sufficient funding to support your education and living expenses while you are in the UK.
