Professional Development and Work Based Learning
Forward-thinking organisations are investing in their staff to ensure they are better prepared for the business challenges of the future. This means they are able to maximise the contribution their staff make to the business, and retain their best employees.
With programmes developed by researchers and industry experts at the University of Lincoln, our professional development opportunities are different to other training courses.
The University offers a wide variety of courses and ways to study, from executive programmes to industry-focussed short courses and degree level study via distance learning.
Work-based Distance Learning (WBDL)
Our distance learning programmes help you to coordinate your studies around your existing job commitments. Each programme allows you to build on your expertise and achieve a full degree by completing a range of work based management activities. Taught via distance learning, these flexible programmes can be completed within 13-24 months.
Work-based Distance Learning courses are available in:
- Business Management
- Engineering Management
- Humanitarian Supply Chain Management
- Logistics Management
- Retail Management
Our Military programmes are designed to allow serving and ex-serving members of all three services, as well as their MOD civilian colleagues, to achieve academic recognition of their extensive work experience and formal training.
