FEPA Pesticide Application 2 (Tractor Mounted)

The Food & Environment Protection Act requires that persons born after the 31 December 1964 obtain a certificate to prove that they are competent to apply pesticides. Any person of any age who applies pesticides on contract work is also required to have a certificate.
This course is designed for the various tractor mounted boom sprayers and covers the following aspects:
- Safe practice
- Calibration
- Decontamination
- Handling and mixing
- Environmental.
Experience of the prime mover is an essential pre-requisite for this course.
Certificates can be endorsed for different spray delivery methods.
This course has been awarded 12 NRoSO CPD points. Breakdown: 4E, 6AP, 2CP
This one day course is followed by the NPTC practical assessment. Details of the date and time of the assessment will be given on the day of the course.
You will need to bring the following with you:
- Writing materials
- NPTC Schedule of Standards
- Coveralls
- Wellingtons
- Protective toecaps
- Face shield
- Nitrile gloves.
