MSc Sport Science: Applied Sport Science Bursary

The School of Sport & Exercise Science collaborates with local and national organisations and individuals, providing expert sport science support. The School is able to utilise their state-of-the-art Human Performance Centre and strength and conditioning facilities to deliver guidance in activities such as improving the performance of Olympic athletes to conducting research into those living with asthma.

Students are encouraged to become involved in the delivery of this support in order to gain the skills and experience that are crucial for successfully pursuing a career in applied sport science.

Due to the rapid expansion of the School’s external consultancy activities, the opportunity has arisen for selected MSc Sport Science students to receive a bursary whilst studying to build a diverse portfolio of applied work in various disciplines including sports psychology, physiology, biomechanics, strength and conditioning, nutrition and performance analysis.
